The Chat interface

Use Workshop Chat to brainstorm, inspect your project, and move useful answers back into your work.

Recommended workflow

1. Open the the chat interface feature from the workspace.
2. Make one focused change and inspect the preview, context, or confirmation.
3. Apply the change only after checking which scenes, entries, prompts, or settings it affects.

Good practice

Keep established story facts in the Codex, scene structure in Plan, and generated text in the Manuscript. Use clear names and descriptions so search and AI context can find the right material. Keep a dated export before large structural changes, and use revision history when reviewing AI-assisted edits.

Related tools

The feature works with the project tree, AI settings, and the writing editor. If a result is incomplete, narrow the task, add the missing context, and try again rather than repeating a broad request.
